Give way to the ambition and fresh ideas!
Not so long ago any kind of promotion has been looked at as something like a vacuum cleaner as this has been thought to take all your money from you for absolutely nothing. But this is always with marketing and advertising. You never know the results – you may never predict being 100% sure that this or that marketing strategy will work and start bringing benefits. When people started to invest in advertising specialties they were always mocked as no one understood why were they doing this and why they are looking for the partners in the advertising sphere to establish close business relations. And then the crisis came. The global financial crisis (so much has already been written about it) strongly affected all the niches of the global market and the major players became somehow endangered by the new ambitious young companies that might occupy their niches in less than several months! So why not? If they are ambitious, if they are not concerned about anything but their customers’ needs as well as the quality of goods they produce, like even promotional magnets they like to give absolutely for free for their customers and the quality of services they provide – why shouldn’t they compete with the big players whose position is catastrophical nowadays and they do not even try to come up with something to rectify their situation? They do not even try to participate in several (because of the crisis its number has been largely limited) trade shows and present all the visitors with some minor gifts in order to be still known to the public, like, for instance, promotional t-shirts with the logos of their companies. To regain their center of attention they do nothing and remain in the shade. They do not believe in the power of aggressive marketing and finally they lose.
