Hack FaceBook’s Sorority Life & Mobsters

If you’re one of those millions of people who uses FireFox as their main web-browser I bet you’ve at least once heard an extension called Data Tamper. True, the very FireFox extension which can be used to view and modify HTTP/HTTPS headers and post parameters. The one that a lot of people uses to manipulate eCommerce’s items prices, so that one can buy some package of Ninja Remote for a good US$0.01. Sounds interesting to you? Question is, will it be able to be used on several FaceBook login online application? Perhaps, buying some Cafe World’s gold with only US$0.01 or anything alike? This is me and my story, doing this kind of data tampering activities on several games created by Playdom. First and foremost, download your Data Tamper FireFox Extension. Install it online, and restart your entire FireFox to make it work. Go to your Sorority Life application on FaceBook login page. Sure, you can change it into any other games which been developed by Playdom (such as Mobsters, or any other games). Please note that I’m using this Sorority Life game, because my girlfriend playing it and she asked me to do some tricks on it. Click menu Tools on your FireFox (the one on the top of the FireFox application index) and go to Tamper Data. Open your extension and targeted games all together. Like the one shown in this picture. Before you do anything on your Data Tamper, go to your Buy Brownie Points page and clicked on the paypal button to earn more brownie points. You’ll then be faced with this kind of a popup window – showing all the packages of brownie points Playdom sells, and all you need to do is just pick one of them. Don’t click anything yet. From this point on, open your Data Tamper and click Start Tamper button. The one on the left-top side of the extension. Then go back to your selected brownie package page, then buy it. Once you clicked the buy button, several windows asking whether you want to tamper some post parameters will keep on popping up. If I’m not mistaken, it will be the 2nd window, which will contain the information of amount variable, which also means the price you should pay for that package you choose. Click Tamper button on that one. Replacing it with US$0.01 will be the best. Just like what I did. You’ll then be redirected to paypal. Just do the transaction like always, put your ID and password on the given columns. Paypal will then tell you that your account will be charged for US$0.01. Just say YES. And this is what you’ll got. Despite of the fact that the number of brownie points delivered to your account, you still got it even when you cheat the real price using this method. Not a great hack indeed, but still fun to do. Especially when you combine CCBill Vulnerabilities, carding methods (which merely an illegal attempt), and Data Tampering methods. If you know what I mean. Hahaha. Yes, something like, tampering data on Credit Card based transaction rather than Paypal. Conclusion?Any games created by Playdom is somewhat less secure than the ones created by Zynga. However, judging from the appearance of some games (if I can name one; Vampire Wars), some of Zynga’s games are also vulnerable to this method of cheats. So, I think, it’s time to say bye, and have fun doing stuffs, cheats and hacks in FaceBook.
